Welcome!

Welcome to my first post! WordPress recommended that I tell you why I’m starting this blog, and I think that’s a great idea! See that handsome man pictured? Not the black and white one, the one in plaid. That’s my husband, Cameron! He is skeptical about 99.9% of the time that I’m really excited about a new idea. Sometimes for good reason (I pick up every stray dog I see and bring them home). Even after being together for 8 years, he is still nervous when I have a new idea of where we should travel next.

When we first met, we were broke, recent college grads. We talked about bucket lists but the ideas were nothing that we could afford at the time. In getting to know each other, I found out Cameron had never been on a cruise. Some of you may be thinking, ‘neither have I’, but do you live in Florida extremely close to a major cruise port?? So it was decided. We were going on a cruise! This was a huge relationship step for us because it meant we couldn’t break up over the next few months. We booked a 4-day Grand Cayman and Cozumel Carnival cruise out of Tampa for October 2010 (HUGE savings during hurricane season). And that is where it all began!

Cameron has loved every single trip we’ve been on since then and continuously thanks me for the amount of detail and planning that go into our adventures. I love sharing our itineraries with others and, recently, Cameron began encouraging me to start a blog so I can share in a much larger scale! I was skeptical and thought he was crazy. So, naturally, I have to give it a shot since he blindly follows me on any adventure I choose.

I hope you enjoy!
